The White Cilento Fig features a rich and delicate pulp with a very sweet amber color. Dried in the sun, according to an ancient tradition, the high qualilty product is hand-made  after careful selection.

The product drying and machining phases take place entirely in local area of ​​production, at our farm, in a harmonious  process created by the interaction between product, man and the environment.

Oven Baked White Cilento Figs

White Cilento Figs are dried by a process which according to the ancient Cilento tradition, takes place by a slow process of oven baking. When finished, the fruit takes on a brown color and a  delicious flavor.

 Figs Wrapped in leaves

After selecting Cilento DOP white figs dried in the sun on  canned roots, following an old family recipe, which the company still uses as a Cilentan tradition, the figs are enclosed in their leaves and placed in a wood oven, using organic olive  and myrtle (or hornbeam), a shrub typical of the  Mediterranean , rich  in the Cilentan region and already known to ancient Romans for its scented characteristics.

The result of this natural method is a product of simply delicious  taste.

Bamboo Skewered Figs

Very popular and prepared according to ancient tradition are the so-called bamboo skewered figs. The fig is dried naturally in the sun for about 8-10 days , allowing for ventilation and infusion of the fruit. Once dried, the white fig is  "impaccato"  -  halved and filled with toasted almonds, lemon peel and bay leaves. According to tradition, such seasoned figs are pierced with wooden skewers and, for this reason, we  call them "bamboo skewered figs."
